Travelling Ahead Gypsy, Roma Traveller Advice and Advocacy Service

Casual Engagement Officer – Roma Communities

£13.63ph - up to 15 hours per week for up to 6 months 

Tros Gynnal Plant has been providing services to vulnerable children, young people and their families across Wales for 14 years.

In 2017 Tros Gynnal Plant took over the established Travelling Ahead project and were awarded a Welsh Government contract to develop and deliver a new service to empower Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities (children, young people and adults) across Wales to access their rights, address inequalities and tackle discrimination.

This sessional role will specifically enhance the service by leading on working with migrant Roma communities across south Wales and we are looking for suitably experienced people to join the team.

North Wales Childrens Rights Service 

Advocacy Worker - North Wales 

£23,398 - £27,668 - 1 x 37 hr per week post - 

(Temporary until 31.03.19)

We have offices in both Caernarfon and Wrexham. The successful candidate will be based at one of our offices.

Candidates must have an interest in children’s rights and supporting children to have a voice. You will need to have experience of direct work with children and young people, a good understanding of advocacy and experience of multi-agency working.
