Western Bay

ADVOCACY WORKERS x 4

We are currently looking to recruit a number of advocacy workers to join our existing team. Opportunities available are:

3 x 37 hr per week (full time)
1 x Casual Advocate Post

£23,398 - £27,668, (pro rata for part time)

We have an office in Bridgend and are seeking to open one in Swansea.

Candidates must have an interest in children’s rights and supporting children to have a voice. You will need to have experience of direct work with children and young people, a good understanding of advocacy and experience of multi-agency working.

You will be part of a team of dedicated staff who work with some of the most vulnerable children and young people.

PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking to recruit an effective and efficient administrator who will support the smooth running of the Western Bay Advocacy Service functions of the organisation.

You should have at least 2 years of administrative experience including organisaing meetings and/or events, minute taking and using IT softwares such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Tros Gynnal Plant has been providing services to vulnerable children, young people and families across Wales for 14 years.
 
We, the Team around the Family in Cardiff are looking for a suitably experienced person to join this friendly, positive, dynamic team to work on our telephone advice line and associated visiting service. You will deliver telephone case consultation, signposting, advice to professionals, families and home visits to families in Cardiff.


The role is full time, working weekdays 9am-7pm and involves working regular Saturday mornings and lone working when visiting families.  

Candidates must have an interest in children’s rights and supporting children to have a voice. You will need to have experience of direct work with children and young people, a good understanding of advocacy and experience of multi-agency working.
